Slindon Estate (Short)
This walk takes you up to the north west of Kingley Vale and reaches a high point of 195 metres. The walk is 3.4 miles long. There are several footpaths so I recommend taking a map with you, preferably an electronic one with GPS. Near the end of the walk there is a memorial to a “Hurricane” pilot who crashed in 1940. There is parking for a few cars on the road verge around the start position (GPS 50.89554, - 0.86277 - OS: SU800112) shown by a red flag on the map.
