This walk takes you to Pagham Spit, a shingle bank that sticks out into Pagham Harbour from the Pagham side. We walk from Church Lane around the easterly edge of Pagham Harbour to Pagham Spit. You will find a lot of sea erosion on the south side of Pagham Spit so the coastline at high tide on the map is very different to actuality. I have shown the approximate new high tide line area in sky blue on the map below. The walk and return is 3 miles long. You can usually find some street parking in Church Lane near the start position (GPS 50.7713, -0.7536 - OS: SZ879975) shown by a red flag on the map. The blue dashed line is a shortcut if you prefer it a bit shorter.
